BIO
Anne Alfano is a classically trained Chef, Restaurant Consultant and Food Enthusiast, operating in Washington, DC. She is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in Napa Valley California where she studied culinary arts and wine pairing. Most recently, Anne was the Co-founder and Executive Chef at Little Red Fox in Washington, DC, a farm-to-table fast casual kitchen and market.
Past experience includes time spent as a line cook at Momofuku Ssam Bar (New York City), recently named the 41st best restaurant in the World by San Pellegrino. Anne was part of Donald Link's team at Cochon and Herbsaint restaurants in New Orleans, where she explored Nouveau Creole and Cajun cuisine. She is a trained butcher and charcuterer, having studied at Marlow and Daughters in Brooklyn, NY. Other experience includes time spent at various restaurant trails at Napa Valley restaurants, including Terra and Sol Bar (one Michelin Star). Her first restaurant job was at Tosca Restaurant in Washington, DC, where she worked as a fresh pasta roller.
Anne received her B.A. from Middlebury College in Vermont with a focus in French and International Politics. She is a native of Washington, DC and attended Georgetown Day High School.
